Medical gases are used in all hospital departments and healthcare environments. In fact, the proper performance of a hospital can be considered dependent on the correct functioning of its medical gas system. This continuous network is piped from the main sources to different hospital departments, providing a constant gas flow within the pipelines. To connect medical equipment that operates with medical gases, the use of medical gas outlets (also known as gas terminals) is essential.

These outlets allow operators to access medical gases supplied from the hospital’s central system. Depending on the installation area, outlets can be surface-mounted, recessed, or installed on medical pendants and consoles.

Given the critical importance of identifying different types of medical gases, a specific standard color code is used for each gas during production. Another key factor is ensuring that outlets comply with international standards. It is vital that all outlets in a healthcare facility follow a unified system.

Medical gas outlets are generally produced according to three main international standards: JIS, DIN, and BS.

Using high-quality outlets prevents gas leakage and wastage. Since outlets are used continuously, attention to details such as core material, sealing method, and number of valves can save healthcare facilities from significant maintenance costs over time.

Medical gas outlets manufactured by Farad Tajhiz Sepanta Engineering Co. are made from solid stainless steel or nickel-plated brass, depending on the required standard. This not only ensures superior quality and durability compared to similar products in the market but also allows easy cleaning and sterilization.

All outlets by Farad Tajhiz Sepanta are available in the three major international standards, customizable according to client requests.

AGSS Outlet

In all hospital operating rooms, anesthetic gases (N₂O) are used to induce anesthesia through anesthesia machines. After anesthesia, the residual anesthetic gases must be extracted from the machine using a scavenging system and discharged outside the room.

One of the unique products of Farad Tajhiz Sepanta Engineering Co. is the AGSS outlet, which operates using compressed air and does not require a suction pump.

Another feature of this outlet is a visual alarm indicator, which makes it easy for the user to confirm proper connection and gas flow.

The use of high-quality materials such as aluminum, brass, and stainless steel further enhances the outlet’s durability and performance.

This outlet can be installed as surface-mounted, recessed, or on medical gas pendants.
